Where do I begin on the bargains out there at Rite Aid and Walgreens this week.
Let's start with Walgreens shall we.
Here are the items that are free after rebate all month long. You might want to give it a week or two and see if any coupons come out on these items since then you end up making money on them.
Aquafresh Extreme Clean Polishing Action OR Advanced 2x Whitening Toothpaste
Colgate 360 Clean OR Deep Clean manual toothbrush
Soy Joy bar
Just For Men Touch of Gray haircolor (shall I get some of this for Marc?)
Tums QuikPak 24 dose
Jane Be Pure Mineral Blush OR Kabuki Brush
Wal-Zyr 24 Hour Allergy Relief 5 tablets
Wal-itin Tablets 30pk
This looks like a good deal on paper to me especially since it is not only on sale this week but can also be combined with a rebate in the EasySaver Book.
Corner Office Multipurpose Paper 1600 sheets $9.99 - $5 ES Rebate =$4.99
Buy $20 or more of Colgate products listed, get $10 rebate
Colate Max Fresh Toothpaste or Active Angle toothbrush $1.99
Use .75/1 any Colgate toothpaste from ss 3/30
Speed Stick or Lady Speed Stick 24/7 2/$5
USE: Speed Stick 24/7 or Lady Speed Stick 24/7 Antiperspirant/Deodorant, any excluding 0.5 oz. product $1/1 SS-3/9 or ss 3/30
Softsoap Body Wash 2/$7
USE: Softsoap Body Wash, any excluding 2 oz. size .75/1 (4-5-08) SS-3/9 or $1.00/1 SS-3/30
Softsoap hand soap refill $4.99
These 7-day coupon items should also count at the price they ring up before the coupon
Softsoap hand soap .99 (7-day coupon) also use soft soap .35/1 SS-3/30
Irish Spring Bar Soap 2/$3
So the way I see this one with the rebate is if you bought 8 of the speed stick 24/7 deodorants used 8 $1 coupons and then received your $10 rebate at the end of the month it would look like this. 8 x 2.5=20-8 (in $1 coupons)=$12-10 rebate=$2-$1 bonus if you take your rebate on a Walgreens gift card comes out to 8 deodorants for $1.
On the soft soap it should work like this since they will come up at full price to begin with which is what you circle on the receipt for rebate purposes.
8 soft soap pumps x 2.59= $20.72 - 2.8 (eight .35 coupons from paper) =17.92 -12.72 from using in ad coupon= $5.2 - $10 rebate = -4.60 in other words you make $4.60 or 5.60 if you take the rebate in the form of the gift card. I know this seems confusing so if you need clarification let me know. Also you could mix and match the items you put into the deal I just used these two as the ones that are probably the best deal.
Ok onto the Register Rewards, for those who don't know about these they print out a Register Reward RR which is like cash at Walgreens or Albertsons on your next purchase. Last time there was some confusion about using coupons in connection with the Register Rewards. You should be able to but I will go try it out and let you all know what happens.

Albertson's and Smith's 3/26-4/1
Albertsons
Not a whole lot this week but here's what I see.
Kellogg's cereal (Froot Loops 15 oz., Corn Pops 15 oz., Apple Jacks 15 oz., Frosted Flakes 14 oz., Rice Krispies 12 oz., Cocoa Krispies 17.5 oz.) are all on sale for $2 with the buy 7 get $10 on your next order coupon. So the cereal comes out to .57 a box. If you still have $4/4 peelies you are making a profit.
Purex Ultra Concentrate laundry detergent 24-32 loads $1.99
Purex Ultra Concentrate or Natural Elements Laundry Detergent, any $1/1, 3/16
or $1/1 printable coupon at this link.
So only .99 a bottle after coupon.
To view the entire shopping list click here.
Smith's
I don't really see anything except the milk at $2.29 a gallon that I think is super useful but to view the entire shopping list click here.
Smith's has the .50 yeast catalinas working now that Albertson's had the last few weeks. If you use your Flieshman's buy one get one coupon from 3/9 with the .50 catalina on each you end up getting them both for free. If you happen to have yeast coupons from 12/2 or 11/4 you end up making a profit on this one.
Just thought I would mention to everyone that this is the last week to use all the beer rebates out there right now. If anyone needs any I still have quite a few just let me know.

Albertsons and Smiths
Cereal Sale of the Century at Albertsons
Certain Kellogs cereals including all flavors of frosted mini wheats, cocoa krispies, corn flakes and several others are on sale for $1.67 a box. For each 7 boxes you buy a $10 catalina will print that you can use on anything in the store. That comes out to about .24 a box if you have coupons for the mini wheats from the 2/24 paper or the peelie coupons that were on boxes of cereal a while back you will actually end up making a profit on the cereal. I bought 30 boxes yesterday and by combing peelie coupons, and frosted wheat coupons from 2/24 I make about $14 and got 30 boxes of free cereal. You can only do one transaction at a time but they will let you just keep doing it and will accept your last $10 print out to pay for your next load of cereal. To sweeten the deal even further at this link you can print two coupons that give $1 off produce for buying Kellogs cereal. Link
Other great deal at Albertsons include the Challenge butter which is still on sale. Check last weeks Albertsons post to find out how to get the free butter and Flieshmans Yeast.
With the coupon from 2/3 Pillsbury cake mixes are only .53 a piece.
Orville Redenbacher popcorn 3 pack is on for $1.50 but you can use coupons from 2/24 or 1/20 paper to bring it down to $1.00-$1.10 per box. Then this catalina will apply as well. Buy Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet popcorn between 3/14 and 4/6 Buy 2, get .50 OYNSOBuy 3, get $1 OYNSOBuy 4 or more, get $2 OYNSO. So with the coupons from the paper and the sale and catalina you could get 4 boxes for $2. Watch for tearpad coupons that will give you free soda with you popcorn.
For the full Albertsons list click here.
Smiths
John Morrell Spiral Sliced Half Ham is on for $1.49 a pound. If you buy 5 coca cola product 12 packs which are on 5/$12 you instantly get $5 off the ham. If you combine that with the beer rebate on the John Morrel Spiral Ham you can get a $10 ham for free. Let me know if any of you need one of these forms I have some extras.
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter is on for $1.00 but if you use the printable coupons at these links you can get it for .25. Link or Link
To view the whole List Click here.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask and let me know what great deals you all find. In the middle of what has turned out to be an ultra difficult week I have to say I'm grateful for all the ways couponing has not only allowed me to save money but to get to know lots of great people. Thanks everybody.

So here we are to another fun filled week of grocery shopping. There are some fun deals at Albertson's and Smith's this week.
Albertsons
Salmon, Cod and Tilapia are on for $1 a pound if you still have a Seafood beer rebate this might be a great way to use it. If you need one I have some so just let me know.

If you go to this link and click the coupon tab you can enter your email address and they will e-mail you two coupons for .50 a piece one you can use on the spreadable butter and one on the stick butter. So after the catalina and coupons it will be FREE. Keep in mind you need to buy in multiples of two. Remember you qualify for coupons for each e-mail address so put in yours, your husbands, kids etc. Don't just run multiple copies they need to come from different e-mail addresses since they have serial numbers.
Challenge Butter
The Russell Stover Easter Egg Candy is the same deal as at Walgreens. With the buy two get two coupon from 3/2 you can get 4/.66.

Free Stuff of the Day
All day I have been looking for my camera so I could post a cool picture with this post but it has mysteriously disappeared. Wanted to tell you about two great deals right now. First at Walgreens if you use the in ad coupon they have right now on the trident gum buy 1 get 1 free and the buy one get one Trident Manufacturers coupon that came out on Sunday 3/9 together you can get the gum for free. I had five coupons from the paper so I ended up with 10 free packs. Just make sure to give them your Manufacturer coupons first. Also if you are interested in getting Pork and Beans for free with a .70 overage at Walgreen's check out Monday's post.
Also at Albertsons through 3/20 you can get the Flieshmans 3 strip yeast packets for a dollar a piece if you use the buy one get one free coupon in Sunday's paper with this they come out to .50 a piece then you will get a save .50 on your next shopping trip for each pack you have so if you factor that in they are free. The .50 coupons or catalinas as they are called are as good as cash at Albertsons. So I've got ten free packs of gum and ten free things of yeast what more could a girl want. Lets all cross our fingers that I can find my camera because I know you are all dying to see a picture of that. Let me know how all your couponing is going and be sure to share great deals you all are finding.
Happy Couponing.

Ok on to the exciting stuff, Beer Rebates.
For those who are not aware in Utah you do not have to buy the beer to take part in their offers. I found three new ones today.
The first one is a Bud one, Receive $15 rebate by mail on your purchase of any Deli Items, including meat, cheese, platters, trays, chicken, fresh take and bake or frozen pizza and all prepared foods from the deli. Purchase price must be at least $15.01.
The Second one is from George Killian's Irish Red, Purchase Corned Beef and Cabbage (any brand any size purchase price minimum $12 ) receive a $5 refund.
Third from Heinken, purchase $6 worth of fresh cut beef or corned beef and receive $5 rebate.
I picked up several of each so if you haven't found them just e-mail me or leave a comment and we'll figure out a way to get it to you. If you don't live real close you could always send me a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope and I'll send it to you that way.
My email: rebekahclements2001@yahoo.com
Oh the excitement of it all. I hope this helps somebody and happy couponing.

Airborne Settlement
If you haven't heard yet Airborne has been sued in a class action lawsuit due to claims they made in their advertising concerning its ability to fight off a cold. Anyone who has purchased Airborne between 2001 and 2007 can fill out a simple form at the link below and you can be reimbursed for up to six packages purchased through the years without any proof of purchase. The reimbursement for those who have purchased six through that time frame would be $41.94. If you happen to have receipts for more than six you can be reimbursed for as many as you have proof for. The form is very simple and just asks you to approximate when you may have bought the product. Through the years I've probably bought 30 boxes but of course I haven't saved receipts. Oh well despite what they say I feel it has helped me when I was getting a cold. Just thought I'd pass along the info.

New Week at Albertson's and Smith's
So Wednesday marks the beginning of a new grocery week at Albertson's and Smith's. You can always check out the full printable shopping lists at Pinching Your Pennies (notice how tech savy I have become, I've put a link straight to PYP below the blog counter) but for now I'll put the deals that are screaming out to me. Leave comments if you find other great deals.
Albertson's
Darigold Yogurt is on for .60 with a coupon from 2/17 that's .10 per yogurt, my little Parker will be pleased with that one since he believes "Wogurt" is the only breakfast suitable for 2 year olds.
The Campbell's Soup at hand is on sale for $1 and with this link you get a $2 coupon, I love a dollar overage. Even if you've printed it before keep in mind that lots of these printable reset monthly. I'm not positive about this one but it is worth a try.
http://promotion.familytime.com/soupathand/default.asp
There were also $1/2 coupons in the 2/3 inserts.
The Betty Crocker Promo where you buy $10 worth and save $5 has some pretty good deals after discount. Using coupons from 2/10 inserts. Things like cookie pouches are only .50.
Bisquick shake and pour also falls under that promo (we love this stuff for camping) and with a coupon at this link is only .50 per bottle.
http://www.bettycrocker.com/products/bisquick/Bisquick-Product-Landing-Page.htm
And most importantly thanks to Leeann Tic-Tacs are free at Albertson's right now with the coupon from 1/27 good eye Leeann.
You can find the full shopping list here

Smith's
Kroger Chicken 4lb bags are $5.96
Lean Ground beef is 1.19/lb
With the coupon from 1/4 inserts the Challenge butter is only $1.25
Mountain Dairy Milk is $2.29 (good for us we seem to go through at least 5 gallons a week)
Honey Bunches of Oats are on for $2 so free with the coupons I listed in printing pennies yesterday (These did reset the beginning of March so you can print 6 more)
Reese's Whips are 2/.33 with coupon from 1/6
If you buy 5 Pillsbury Breakfast Scrambles or Strudels and use .50/1 coupons from 1/13 inserts they come out to .69 per package.
There are lots of other good deals at Smith's so check out the shopping list at this link.

Associated Food's Stores Lee's, Macey's, Wangsgards
The Jury is still out for me regarding case lot sales now that I am a hard core couponer but on somethings it is probably still worth it. Associated is having a case lot sale. Nothing thrilled my soul in their shopping list this week but here is the link if you want to check it out.

Remember ask for rainchecks if you need them, Wal-mart will price match (Just show them the ad first that you want them to match, I watched Brooke do it like a pro last night) and happy shopping.

Printing Pennies
I thought today I'd post some of the best printable coupons out there right now. I know that the North Ogden Walgreens and all associated foods stores will not accept printable but pretty much everyone else will. Albertsons, Smiths, Riteaid, Harmons, Wal-Mart all take them.
So here are so favorites.
Honey Bunches of Oats with Chocolate Clusters
http://www.kraftfoods.com/honeybunchesofoats/offers.html
http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=ranpdjt1933389&bt=wi&o=51752&c=KF&p=4TkwXr2V
http://www.imadeyoubreakfastinbed.com/index.html
These are on sale through today at Albertsons. If you buy 5 boxes they come out to $1.40 per box so you're making .60 per box since these are $2 coupons. Make sure you buy something else to eat up that overage. They generally sell at Wal-mar for just over $2 so super cheap box of cereal, don't forget you can always price match at Wal-Mart if that is more convenient or Albertson's supply has run dry. Also on each site if you hit the browser back button you can print two coupons from each link.
Johnson's Buddies
http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=sdtledk37508219&bt=wi&o=9778&c=JB&p=YVciHM3r&xpsp=xpsp
The kid's bath soap sells at most stores for under a dollar so it is free with coupon. You can print two. My kids love this soap, it doesn't slip out of their hands and it is in a bright green pouch so you can see it anywhere in the tub.
Kraft Live Active Cheese $2 Coupon
http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=rabucfi99716901&bt=wi&o=51639&c=KF&p=iNGA5OqJ
http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=ratvdra56126851&bt=wi&o=51640&c=KF&p=Q0KihNls
http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=rawoaig93708391&bt=wi&o=51644&c=KF&p=LQSjNJc1
http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=ra3obvq89688346&bt=vi&o=51646&c=KF&p=NX4ObVTe
http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=ra1rdep58323848&bt=wi&o=51641&c=KF&p=xl2AUwdR
Should be able to get a couple from each of these. They go on sale occasionally at Albertson's for $2 and are always about $2.77 at Wal-Mart so only .77 per package.
Campbell's Soup at Hand $2
http://promotion.familytime.com/soupathand/default.asp
This is like $1.29 at Wal-mart so you get a little overage.
Anyway I'll update as I find more exciting printables, let me know if you guys find some good ones. Happy Couponing everyone.

Coupon Blogging Here We Go
So my friends Brooke and Heidi have encouraged me to start a coupon blog so that those who are interested in great deals can just look at my Blog and see what I think is a hot deal. I'll try to update when some new hot deal comes along and of course on Monday's to let everyone know what smokin deals came out in Sunday's paper.
Walgreen's Week of 3/2-3/8
The Olay, Ivory, Zest and Safeguard bar soaps are all on 2/$4 with a $4 register reward so basically free. (For those who don't know a Register Reward is a coupon that prints out and can be used like cash on your next purchase at Walgreens or at Albertson's)
If you buy six of the products on the top of page 14 you get a $12 register reward. If you combine these deals with coupons from yesterday's Proctor and Gamble coupon section and the Proctor and Gamble Section that came out last month you can get many products free or nearly free.
If you use the $1 coupons in yesterday's Proctor and Gamble section in connection with the Crest mouth wash, toothpaste and Glide Toothpaste deal you can get those items for a dollar a piece when you use one coupon per item.
Be warned that some Walgreens are being weird about using coupons in connection with the register rewards. Technically it should work so stand your ground and as Heidi would say lets all use our Coupon Confidence.
I'll do a separate post later on items that are free after rebate all month at Walgreen's!
Rite Aid
The Gillette Mach3 Disposable Razor 3ct packs are on for $6 with a $3 monthly rebate and a $3 coupon in yesterday's Proctor and Gamble so FREE.
The Venus Razor is $10 with a $6 rebate and $4 coupon in the Proctor and Gamble yesterday so Free.
The Noxzema shaving products have a .50 coupon in yesterday's coupons and at this link you can get a rebate form for a total refund on one package resulting in a .50 overage.
http://www.noxzemashaving.com/rebate/
Excedrin 24ct is on for $2 a bottle with your $2 coupon in yesterday's paper it is Free.
The Arm and Hammer laundry detergent is on for 3.99 with a $2 monthly rebate so $1.99 per bottle but you can get a prinable $1 coupon here for a total of .99 for the bottle. Sign up at this link and then it allows you to print a bunch of coupons, one of them being for the laundry detergent.

Good Luck Everybody and let me know how it goes!
