A Semi Exciting Announcement

Ok so my friend Heidi has convinced me to do a coupon class/seminar whatever you want to call it at her house a week from today Thursday September 18 at 7:00 pm, 2008. She has tons of room to set up chairs and she is a gourmet cook and promises awesome refreshments. So here's the deal anyone and everyone interested in coming is invited. I don't have to know you, or maybe I do. Maybe your brother's sister-inlaw's cousins stepmother told you about this blog it doesn't matter Heidi says the more the merrier. Whether you are an experienced couponer or a novice all are welcome. Plus I will be doing a huge grocery give away and there will be prizes and did I mention Heidi's refreshments (the real reason I will be attending). So if you want your questions answered on everything from Beer Rebates to Walgreens and everything inbetween just come it will be fun. Just e-mail me at rmailto:rebekahclements2001@yahoo.com and I'll send you the details on address (it is in North Ogden but occasionally people do cross the border from other locales). So spread the word and bring anybody you want to.
Hope to hear from you soon.

P.S. Here is a link to a coupon good fro $10 off a $40 purchase at Walgreen good Friday 12th and Saturday the 13th. This is an excellent time to get your free after rebate items for the month of September.

Ok so here is your Quaker sale tip of the day. There are manufacturers coupons for $3/5 Quaker products in the Lee (possibly all associated foods) and Harmons ads. You can't combine them with the other manufacturers coupons however in all cases except the $1 printable and the $1 high fiber oatmeal one from 9/7 you end doing better using the $3/5 coupon since that comes out to a .60 savings per item. Also for those items with no coupons associated with them these will work. So go through your ads and cut those out and if you need to use both types if you are buying tons of stuff. I hope that all makes sense.

Since this Albertsons sale is such a big one I wanted to get this up. I'll post Smiths tomorrow. Hope this all made sense.

Free Clorox Wipes, Cheap Bacon, Free Yogurt, Free South Beach Drinks What More Do You Want In Life?

Ok so today's post is a potpouri of stuff.

First someone left a comment saying they were having trouble using the discount code for Restaurant.com. I've checked it out and it should work fine for anybody just remember the code is only good for $25 certificates and you should enter LABOR in all caps. Hope that helps those that were experiencing problems. Also as a side note as of today Restaurant.com has it's first Ogden restaurant. It is the Warehouse Steak House downtown. I've heard good things about it and with the 60% off code I decided to give it a try. Hopefully they will be adding more Ogden Locations all the time.

The new Western Family Free Item of the week coupon is up now.

Second here is a hot little deal you can take advantage of at Smiths. They have Clorox toilet bowl cleaner on for $1 a bottle. Buy two bottles for $2 and use the coupon found at this link and get a free container of Clorox Wipes. The wipes are currently $2.99 (you need the $2.99 one since the coupon is only good up to $3.59 or something like that). Two bottles of toilet cleaner and a thing of Clorox wipes is not a bad deal for $2. You can print two at this site just click the link under the parent section.

I have two random Wal-mart tips today, first if you still have these coupons
Farmland Sliced Bacon, 12-oz. or 16-oz. $2/1 (8-31-08) RP-6/8
Farmland Sliced Bacon, 12-oz. or 16-oz. $2/1 (8-31-08) SS-5/4
they both expire on Sunday. At Wal-mart their Farmland Bacon is generally $2.50 a package so that gives you good quality bacon for only .50 with this coupon. Just don't forget the expiration.
My second random Wal-Mart deal has to do with a printable coupon found at this link SouthBeach you can get $2 for South Beach Tide Me Over drink things that you mix into a bottle of water. They taste surprisingly good and they really do take the edge off hunger. They sell for $2 a Wal-Mart so they are FREE with the coupon. You can also print two of these if you hit the back button after you print the first one.

So go forth and shop and then come back and tell me all about it.
