Sorry for the absence with the Holidays and my little one having been so ill last week things have been crazy. Thank you for your kind comments and concern, he is doing so much better. Dozens of tests and they still were never able to determine what was wrong but he seems to be 100% better and we are very thankful for that. So here we are on Wednesday so we need to talk Groceries.

Last but not least if you are still looking to do a photo book for yourself or a Christmas gift here are a couple of ideas. Lots of people are doing them through SnapFish right now because of the promotion through Oprah. Only problem is the site is very bogged down and so it is moving super slow, snapfish doesn't have a whole lot of what I call digital scrapbooking options and you have to have your book done by Nov. 22. So if you are feeling bummed about this here are a couple of solutions.
Artscow.com has fabulous photobooks.
Through Nov. 25 you can do a 8X8 20 page photo book for $6.99 shipped with the code PBSD699. You can not add additional pages with this promo 20 pages is your limit. However, if you would like to do a larger book or you need more time to get it done I have these unique codes I'm happy to let people use. These codes are one time use so if you use it leave a comment letting others know it isn't good anymore. With this code you get a 30 page 8x8 book for $11.99 and that includes the shipping.

So here are the deals at Rite Aid and Walgreens this week. I also ran accross this fun thing you can make online. I don't know why but free lipstick thrills my soul. Sometimes if I am driving and I'm having a hard time finding where I am supposed to go or I'm just frustrated with traffic I put on lipstick and somehow I feel better. (Don't tell anyone I put lipstick on while driving). Now I can have lipstick in the glove box, ash tray, door pocket etc. So that is my Halloween treat.
They also have huge packages on Mission Tortillas on sale for .69 at Carls and regular size packages for .50. If only were Cinco De Mayo.
So I hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween.

So that is the news for Monday on all those fabulous coupn deals. If your rite aid is out of rebate items you are interested in ask if they are doing any substitutions 2nd street was.
Just wanted to let everyone know there is a $5 on $20 coupon at Walgreens.com right now. The new free after rebate items are listed in the new Walgreens Easy Saver book which came out today so that is a great way to use the $5 coupon since you will get all your money back on those items anyway. Also if you print a coupon from www.airwick.com for $4 off the Lysol Nurtri Air system you can get one for $1.99 since they are on sale this week and there is a $3 rebate in the new book so you make a buck.
Also I have edited the last post to remove the information regarding the ELF cosmetics deal. It is real stuff and it is a real website but it is not high end stuff as the email I received led people to believe. Allure magazine rated some of their stuff quite highly and some of it just mediocre. So hopefully I didn't lead anybody too far astray and if you decide you want out all together you can call and cancel your order before it ships. I feel so bad to have led people astray on this one but as I said Allure magazine thinks quite a bit of their stuff is very decent for the price. In the future I will do a little more research. Again I am so sorry and hope this hasn't adversely affected anyone. Sometimes I am in such a hurry to share a great deal I do a disservice.
At Carl's Super Saver on Harrison and about 32nd they have Dole Expression Salad Kits for .69. These have the greens, croutons, seasoning, dressing etc all included in the bag. Use this coupon Dole Distinctively Dole Salad, any .50/1 (11-30-08) SS-10/12 or this one Dole Distinctively Dole Salad, any .50/1 (10-31-08) SS-9/14 and they come out to .19 a piece. They have tons of them right now and they look quite fresh.
Please forgive me for my blunder and I promise to do better in the future.

Also here is a really great idea for Christmas. At www.mycanvas.com you can upload your photos and create custom photo books using their software. It is kind of like digitally scrapbooking online and then they professionally print and bind the book for you. With the code MCBOOK you get $30 off any photo book. The 8x8 books are $30so you would only end up paying shipping which is about $7.95 on the 8x8 book. I'm working on one right now and it is really quite easy.
